Frequently asked questions

Do I need prior experience?
No. Most of our students started as complete beginners. Everything is taught step-by-step.
Will I be the only beginner?
No. New students join regularly, and beginners are fully supported.
What if I have a condition that could impair my ability to attend the class?
It is advised that you speak to the instructor Jung before attending. He will be able to advise you accordingly.
Am I fit enough?
You simply need to be able to stand and walk unaided. Tai Chi builds strength gradually.
Is Tai Chi safe?
Yes. Tai Chi is one of the safest forms of exercise and is gentle on joints. It is suited to a wide range of ages.
What should I wear?
Loose, comfortable clothing and flat-soled shoes. No special equipment required.
What if I feel nervous about attending?
The class is welcoming, friendly, and supportive. Many students attend alone initially. Some attend with their partners or friends too! The Instructor, Jung, will meet you personally at the start of the class.
You don’t need more pressure
You need something that brings you back to yourself. Modern life places constant demands on your mind and body. Long hours sitting. Stress that never fully switches off. Tension in your shoulders. Fatigue that sleep doesn’t fully restore. Tai Chi offers a different path. Through slow, precise, intentional movement, you learn to release tension, restore balance, and develop quiet strength — both physically and mentally. This is not about pushing harder. It’s about returning to alignment.
